1. Call to Order: Meeting
was called to order by President Sally MacKenzie at 8:03pm at the Executive
Office Building Cafeteria in Rockville. Teams not signed in at the meeting include: Bethesda, Calverton, Chevy Chase Rec, Clopper’s Mill, Diamond Farm,
East Gate, Eldwick, Flower Hill, Forest Knolls, Inverness Forest, Little Falls,
Long Branch, Norbeck Hills, Oakview, Old Farm, Palisades, Potomac, Potomac
Woods, Robin Hood, Stonegate, Tallyho, Tanterra, West Hillandale
2. Around the Table
Automation (Mike
Lincoln)
· Be sure to download this year’s templates for A meets & B meets (it is optional for B meets, as you can create your own meet). DO NOT change the file name of the A meet at all. If you want a different name to appear on the program, you can change the program name, but do not change the name on the template – It interferes with the integration of results. Also do not change names of swimmers during season, as it will create multiples files for that swimmer. If a name has to be corrected, contact automation @MCSL.org and we’ll tell you how to fix it so that the swimmer’s times are integrated under one name.
· Note that many All-Star times have changed, which is another reason YOU MUST download this year’s templates.
· Additional handbooks are available if anyone needs more – Contact Mike.
Competition (Marty
Cohen)
· Long Course will be held July 8 at Rockville Municipal Pool. The start time will be moved up one hour for a 5pm warm-up/6pm start. Doors will open at 4:30pm. This will allow coaches & swimmers to get home earlier and allow for a half-hour meet warm-up at intermission. This information will be posted on web soon.
· For all invitational meets, please follow the scratch deadlines posted on the web. If someone doesn’t want to swim an event, please scratch by the deadline so that alternate swimmers can be notified in a timely manner.
· Parking at Rockville Pool has been much improved in recent years, so thank you. Please keep up the good work by following the guidelines posted on the web.
· Long Course officials are coordinated by the executive committee, but we will be looking for timers (coaches especially are encouraged).
· All-Stars officials mustbe provided by teams in each division. We will also be looking for timers & relay take offs in advance of these meets, so please help us by submitting the volunteer names when it’s time.
· Invitational meet information will continue to be posted on website, so keep checking it.
Ribbons (Debi
Mengering)
· See Debi if you still need to pick up your A or B meet ribbons
· If anyone has Whetstone’s A ribbons, please let Debi know (Update: these have since been located, but after new ribbons had been ordered.)

To participate, appoint a team representative to collect orders from your pool. Send the total info to Liz and give one pool check made out to Daleview.
