2. Around the Table
Automation (Mike
Lincoln)
- All-star entries – remember that
swimmers can enter only 3 events and need to scratch by the deadline. Scratch deadline (Sunday, July 20,
6pm) will be strictly enforced, even if Divisional results are not
posted prior to scratch deadline. Please send scratches in one batch from
each team. Scratches should be what swimmer DOES NOT want to swim, NOT
what they want to swim.
- Dual meet results must be submitted
promptly. Please do not change the meet name on the template, as this
affects ability to upload results onto website. This applies especially to
Woodley Gardens, River Falls, Westleigh, Daleview, North Chevy Chase,
North Creek & Flower Hill.
- All-star relay seedings are still not
posted, but hopefully will be between Divisionals & All Star Relays
- Do NOT perform any more updates on your
Meet Manager software. The updates are creating problems.
Competition (Dave
Mengering for Marty Cohen)
- Parking for All-Stars – same as in
past years. $1 to park in pool lot. One-way access to lot. May
pull-through to drop off swimmer. There is no back entrance (by indoor
pool) due to construction. Tents, etc. must be brought in through main
entrance.
- Officials – Would like names now
to begin staffing meets. Each division has a person responsible for
appointing officials. Need 5 people from each division to time or be
take-off judge at each meet. Information we need from each person is
posted on website. PLEASE help us staff these events promptly.
- Rule Change proposals need to be
submitted by September 11 via email to Rules@mcsl.org,
along with reasoning behind it. Rule change proposals will be presented to
the membership at first 2009 meeting.
Awards (Debi

Please share that with your coaches.
