MCSL TEAM REPRESENTATIVE’S MEETING MINUTES 5/12/05

Clinics: Advanced Certification Clinic is on 5/25, 7PM at Olney Swim Center. Only Referees certified in 2003 or after should attend this clinic. Others whose certification has expired before 2003 should attend a full clinic. See the website for schedule. If you have officials who are certified by Potomac Valley Swimming (PVS) in either Starter or Stroke and Turn may also certify as such for MCSL. Please just have your official send their name and PVS Club to web@mcsl.org so we can verify the information with PVS.

Automation Clinics: Automation Clinics start 5/22. Check the MCSL website for times. All clinics are at MAC. Make sure you have downloaded any updates for your current software before attending. Also, make sure your computer is working. There is not time to deal with these matters at the clinic.

New Software: No new software is required this year. Just be sure to update your current software to the latest version. Do not purchase new versions of Team Manager.

Is Everything Working? Please take the next few days and your time trials to make sure all your equipment, computer, printer, starter and everything are in operating order.

Team Information: Please take time to check the website under Team/Division Information and make sure your team information is up to date. If you have any changes or corrections please send a note to web@mcsl.org .

Next Meeting: Bring your coaches with you to the next meeting Thursday 6/9/05 at 8PM. There will be a meeting for the Coaches immediately following the Reps meeting which is usually fairly brief. There will also be a Meet Management (Green Book) clinic running concurrently with the Coaches meeting. Make sure someone picks up the meet paperwork for your team if you are unable to attend. Next year’s calendar will be discussed. Iona Brown Award guidelines for nominations will be given.
