MCSL REPRESENTATIVES MEETING MINUTES OF 3/10/2005

 

**IMPORTANT** - Next Meeting: Remember the next meeting is this Thursday April 14, 2005! This is a very important meeting for the Reps. 1) Divisional Assignments: You will be deciding which teams are responsible for the following duties in your respective divisions. RELAY CARNIVAL, Host and Assist Teams. DIVISIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS, Host and Assist Teams. AUTOMATION LIASON. ALL-STAR OFFICIALS. Some divisions may have another item or two but these WILL be decided this meeting. If your team is not prepared to volunteer to help your division or is not represented at this meeting, be prepared to have a job chosen for you by your fellow division members. 2) Invoices for the 2005 fees are due by this meeting. Checks should be sent with a copy of your invoice and please note your team name on the check. If you have not already mailed your check to Sally MacKenzie please bring it with you to the meeting. 3) Please check your team data on the Web Page under “Team and Division Info” and email all changes to web@mcsl.org as soon as possible. Even if you do not have all the info please make any corrections you have at this time as the deadline for the handbook is quickly approaching.

 

Colorado Starting Systems: Please advise Jim Garner at Rules@mcsl.org if you are interested in purchasing a new starting system for the upcoming season. Jim has negotiated for some discounted rates. The rates are based on a minimum order of 6 systems however so please let him know ASAP so he can get them to you in time for Time Trials. Infinity Starter with mike and built in speaker-$625, Tripod-$153, Extra Speaker with 100’? cord-$150, Shipping $40 (apprx). Just checked the CTS website. The starter with mike alone goes for $850.

 

Manna Food Center: A local food for the hungry organization is looking for ways to incorporate food drives with big meets such as Divisional Champs. There should be more info available at the April meeting or you can contact Any Gabala directly at 301-424-1130.

 

Team Dues Invoices: These are due at the April meeting as noted above. Remember you do not receive handbooks or awards if these are not paid.

 

Coach Information: If you are still looking for a coach please see the MCSL website for some possible candidates. If your team is on the website as looking for a coach and you have now found one please notify web@mcsl.org so we can remove your name from the list.

 

B-Meets: Check the main page of the website for “Teams Looking for B-meets” if you still have some open dates you would like to fill.

 

Automation: Please do not wait until the last minute to figure out who your automation person will be, if your software is up to date and whether your computer still turns on or not. Please do not buy and install any new versions of team manager unless you just need to get current with the league. If you are in doubt as to which version you should be on send an email to automation@mcsl.org . It is advised that you or your automation person check to make sure your current version is up to date. Check for updates at www.hy-tekltd.com .

 

Team Info Corrections: Please check the website immediately under “Team and Division Info” and advise web@mcsl.org if your information is incorrect or if you have any information to add. This must be done now to be included in the 2005 handbook.
