Handbooks and Awards: All but one or two teams picked up your Handbooks and Awards for the upcoming season. This was one of the best showings for this meeting in some time. Thanks for your cooperation!
Advertisers: Presentations were made by Oceanic Consulting, Crown Trophies, Ronin Registration Software and Lamb Awards. Please use our sponsors whenever possible. They help support your league.
Six-Flags: Admission for MCSL members will be $19.95 (includes tax) which is half price. Scheduled for 7/12/04. Meal vouchers are available for $7.95 each and are a good value. Tracey Glass would like to hear from you starting around July 1 but you can pick up tickets from her as late as July 11 at her home. Handbook: As you go through the handbook this year continue to advise us of any corrections or questions that come up. There were major changes this year so we want to make sure the Handbook is as accurate as possible. Please email any corrections or questions to handbook@mcsl.org .
Personal Checks: If you use personal checks for any MCSL transaction such as extra ribbons, handbooks, dues, etc., please be sure to note your team name on the check. No personal checks for SixFlags.
Officials: Get your officials prepared for the season. Check the officials’ roster on the web for your team and notify any officials whose certification has expired. They may not know. Remember if you have officials or parents with a PVS certification in Stroke & Turn and or Starter they can be certified for MCSL by bringing a copy of their PVS Cert to a clinic or you can send an email to web@mcsl.org or officials@mcsl.org with the officials name and we will check the PVS certification lists.
Water depth for starting from the deck: Remind your coaches that training for forward starts should take place in a minimum of 5’ of water. USA swimming has revised the rule for competition starts from the deck to take place in a minimum of 4’ of water or if less in water starts must be used. The board is in discussion on this matter and will make a recommendation by the next meeting. If the league matches the USA Swimming rule this should only affect the Relay Carnival in your division.

Meet management clinic: A clinic for meet management will be given immediately after the Reps meeting June 10. All new Reps should attend. Everyone is welcome.
