Minutes of
Call to Order: Carol Nickel called the
meeting to order at8:00pm. The meeting began with a moment of silent prayer as
we all reflected upon the events of this past week
New Team:
A presentation was given by Becky Orr of Norbeck
Grove Pool with a request to join the MCSL. After the presentation a motion was
made, seconded and unanimously passed to allow Norbeck
Grove to enter the league next season.
Notes for Next Season: Please notify the league as soon as
you have any indication if your team is struggling and may not be viable for
next season. It is vitally important that the board know well in advance
so that we can adjust the divisions and teams within the Division.
Changes: Please advise the league if your team changes team
reps for next season. Changes should be E mailed to Secretary@MCSL.org
Awards: Approximately 800-900 swimmers attended the MCSL Six
Flags Day. Tracey Glass is looking for comments from team reps on their
experience and how it can be made even better next season. Please E-mail
your comments to Awards@mcsl.org
Rules: There have already been two rule changes proposed for
next season. If you have a proposed rule change, please E-mail them to Marty
Cohen at Rules@mcsl.org
MCSL Board: One new board member (Linda Raab)
was elected to replace our outgoing president Carol Nickel. The new slate
of Executive Officers was unanimously approved by the membership as
follows:

2002 Schedule: The membership approved the 2002 schedule as
follows:
Season begins6/22/02 and will finish
8/4/02 Mo Co Schools are out
6/20/02
Relay window will be from 7/2 – 7/14. Long Course is scheduled for
