Representatives Meeting

Minutes of April 12, 2001

Call to Order: Carol Nickel called the meeting to order at 8:00 pm.

Advertisers: The following advertisers gave presentations to the membership:

Please make an attempt to use the league sponsors. The support they provide helps the league fund our programs.

Six Flags: Six Flags Amusement Park gave another presentation for an MCSL swim team day on Tuesday July 17, 2001. Discount tickets for $15 ea and eventscatered to MCSL teams will be offered. Ticket sales for the day will be handled through Tracey Glass at (301) 869-7712 or E-mail at Mogla@aol.com. Mark your team calendar for this event.

Transfer Window: Marty Cohen reported that the transfer window for swimmers that swam on the A team last year and wish to transfer pools this year is open and transfer requests need to be mailed to Marty Cohen or E mailed to web@mcsl.org.

Clinics: The 2001 schedule for officials clinics has been set as follows:

Website Bob Hincke requests that any team that fills a coaching vacancy contact him to remove the ad from the MCSL web. Any teams looking for coaches can contact Bob and have the ad posted on the web. Bob Hincke also requests that any team that has not done so to E-mail driving instructions to your pool from the closest major highway to Bob at web@mcsl.org

Automation The league will announce training dates and sites at the May meeting.

Timing Systems: Jim Garner is coordinating a Colorado time system tune up clinic for Sunday May 20, 2001. Details will follow. Jim can purchase new Colorado Infinity start machines for $625, $125 tripod. Please contact Jim Garner if your team is interested in a new machine.

Relay Carnival & Divisionals: Each division met to choose the facility that will hold the division meets and which teams will provide support.

Adjournment and next meeting: The meeting was adjourned at 9:05pm. The next meeting will be held at the Executive Office Building Cafeteria on Thursday May 10, 2001, 8:00pm.
