Coaches Long Course and County All-Star Meets

Whole meet scratches will be accepted at any time. However, we prefer to receive these scratches prior to seeding the meet.

• Seeding of all swimmers in all events within an age group are interdependent.
• Late notification of scratches result in the league records chairman notifying three swimmers per event of their new meet seeding. This is an extra step we would like to avoid.

• This will avoid giving any parent or swimmer the opportunity of obtaining information that might give them an unfair advantage in choosing which events to scratch.

Important points to note about individual event scratching:

1. A swimmer is not required to submit a scratch form; the events for all eligible swimmers will be automatically chosen according to MCSL seeding rules.

2. Scratching one event does NOT guarantee swimming in another event. Swimmers for all events are determined by MCSL seedling rules.
3. Individual event scratches can not be changed once they have been received by the Division Automation Liaison.
4. Individual event scratching is not away to choose what a swimmer wants to swim, but rather a way to elect not to swim a particular event.

The team representative should fill out the above table, sign on the line below and submit this form to the division automation liaison. If the swimmer will not be available for the entire meet, please write ALL under the strokes.
