The 32th Invitational Coaches Long Course Meet will be held at the Rockville Municipal Swim Center on Tuesday, July 8, with a start time of 6:00 pm. The facility will be open at 4:30. Warmups are listed below:

New
for this year, there will be a 30 minute break after event # 26 to allow for a
warmup period for swimmers in the breastroke and butterfly events
Rockville pool open for practice starts the morning of the long course meet (8th) from 8:30 - 9:00 am.
Alternates: Alternates should check in with the Deck Referee for the event they are an alternate in before the event is to be swum. If there are empty lanes, they will then be placed in a lane. If there are empty lanes and no alternates present at the start of the event, then the lane will be empty.
There is no Clerk of Course at the long course meet. All swimmers should report to the assigned lanes for their events. Alternates should report to the Referee.
T-Shirts should be picked up at the awards table. A team rep should do this and collect all the t-shirts for their team.
Other details for the Long Course meet:
- Parking entrance is only via the easternmost (indoor pool) driveway.
- Exit is only via the westernmost (outdoor pool) driveway.
- Upon entering the parking lot you must pay $1.00 (to fund parking
enforcement based on prior year's problems, not enrich MCSL) to park in the lot. You may drop someone off without paying but you cannot park in the lot and must exit after dropping them off.- If you chose to not park in the lot, then you should proceed out the exit and turn left (Martins Lane), follow to traffic light and turn right on Mannakee Street, follow this to the Board of Education building & parking lot on the right side of Mannakee.
(Do NOT park in the baseball field across the street or on side streets.
To do so will put you in risk of a City of Rockville parking ticket.)- Coaches should sign up to time at the meet.
- There will be NO separate pool space for warm-up or warm-down during the meet.
- We will not be accepting Ads for individual events or swimmers, only from MCSL advertisers (in the handbook) who will be listed at the front of the program.
This will be enforced by the Swim Center staff and, if needed, the Rockville City Police. The Swim Center staff will be at the entrance and exit and also patrolling the parking lot.
Please assist the staff to make the parking operation a smooth one.
T-Shirts
for the coaches long are are provided by Capitol Sport & Swim. T-Shirts
have been ordered for all swimmers and alternates (rank 1 - 10) that are listed
in the long
course seedings. Shirts may be picked up at the
Awards table during the
meet.
