2000 Coaches Long Course Meet

This is preliminary information and is subject to change.   When the final information about the Long Course is available it will be posted here and this message will be deleted.

The 26th Invitational Coaches Long Course Meet will be held at the Rockville Municipal Swim Center on Tuesday, July 11, with a start time of 7:00pm. The facility will be open at 5:30. Warmups are listed below:

There will be one earlier opportunity for swimmers to try out the RMSC facility. Tuesday morning, July 11, from 8:30 to 9:00 AM two lanes will be available for swimmers to swim a few lengths, try a few starts, and practice a few finishes. This is a limited opportunity and swimmers must leave precisely at 9:00 AM.

Other details for the Long Course meet:

• Entrance is only via the easternmost (indoor pool) driveway.
• Exit is only via the westernmost (outdoor pool) driveway.
• Upon entering the parking lot you must pay $1.00 to park in the lot. You may drop someone off without paying but you cannot park in the lot and must exit after dropping them off.
• If you chose to not park in the lot, then you should proceed out the exit and turn left (Martins Lane), follow to traffic light and turn right on Mannakee Street, follow this to the Board of Education building & parking lot on the right side of Mannakee.
• Coaches should sign up to time at the meet.
• South Pool (indoor pool above the long course pool) will be open for warm up/down from 7:00 - 8:00PM.  Swimmers may not use the Rec Pool (upper level outdoor) or indoor pools.

This will be enforced by the Swim Center staff and, if needed, the Rockville City Police.   The Swim Center staff will be at the entrance and exit and also patrolling the parking lot.
