The Parkland Whales swim team is conducting interviews for head swim coach for
the 2010 summer season. We are looking for an enthusiastic coach
interested in encouraging kids to join the team and to help them improve their
swimming abilities. The applicant will also plan and participate in team
spirit events, banquets, and after meet celebrations. Both "A"
and "B" swim meets will be held during weekdays.
We are located at 1124 Arcola Avenue next to Kemp Mill Shopping Center.
Practices are generally weekday mornings 7am-9am (during summer vacation) and
late afternoons 5 pm - 7pm. Candidates should be familiar with the
MCSL rules and proper stroke techniques. Prior coaching experience is
desirable. Strongly prefer candidates with pool operator’s
license, Lifeguard Certification, and CPR certification.
Salary level will be commensurate with experience.
