Head Coach

The New Mark Commons swim team is looking for a head coach for the 2008 summer season. We are a small, fun team of about 60 swimmers. We are in a great community in Rockville, Maryland. The ideal applicant will be energetic, enthusiastic and work well with kids of all ages.  Previous coaching experience is required. Familiarity/experience with MCSL rules and regulations is preferred. Up to date lifeguard & CPR certification are required. Pool Operator certification not required but a plus.

The selected applicant will oversee the summer swim team program and will be involved in the selection and supervision of an assistant coach. We have morning and afternoon practices once school is out. Meets are generally on Saturdays.  We do not participate in B meets as we are small enough to include all swimmers in A meets.

 We offer a competitive salary with the opportunity to earn more through private lessons.
