Assistant Coach

The Norbeck Grove Barracudas are looking for an Assistant Coach for the 2008 season. We are 120 swimmers strong located in Olney, MD in a beautiful private neighborhood. Our Assistant Coach should have prior lesson or coaching experience and an enthusiastic positive and motivating personality. The coaching staff, consisting of a head coach and two assistants, have exclusive control on swim lessons provided to the team as well as to the community of 500 homes. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities with the Barracudas:

Attend all practices and meets as scheduled.
Provide regular feedback to swimmers during practices and meets.
Attend meetings and social events as directed by Head Coach
Head Coach with workout sets and meet line-ups
Coach Pre-team and Coordinate Pre-team volunteers
Coordinate Awards for the end of season banquet with Head Coach and Team Rep.
