The Inverness Forest Nessies are looking for a Head Coach and Assistant Coaches for the 2008 swim season.  The team is closely aligned with the rest of the pool community and supports an A and B Meets as well as a Pre-Team enthusiastically. 

The head coach will direct the assistant coaches. We are looking for a person with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to teach technical stroke and turn skills, who can motivate swimmers of all ages and abilities, and who has the energy to lead a strong team from Memorial Day weekend through All-Star weekend at the end of July. Coaches will be expected to participate in and encourage swimmer participation in weekly spirit and social events and other team activities throughout the season.  Candidates should have up-to-date lifeguard and CPR certifications as well as a valid pool operator's license.

Inverness Forest is in division H for the 2008 season. We have both morning and afternoon practices once school is over, with meets on Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings. We are a community pool with supportive parents who appreciate summer swim team for what it offers beyond just the competition at meets.

We offer competitive salaries with supplementary performance bonus potential and the opportunity to organize and run a competitive (and FUN!) summer swim program. We support coaches offering private lessons and stroke clinics during the summer as well.

The Nessies are also looking for assistant coaches for the 2008 season.
