Head Coach

The Darnestown Swim and Racquet Club currently seeks a Head Coach for its summer swim team program.  Applicants should be established swim professionals with coaching experience and possess knowledge of MCSL rules and procedures and must have current pool operator’s license and be CPR certified.   Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must.  The successful applicant will be energetic and possess the ability to instruct, motivate and unite swimmers of all ages and abilities. The selected applicant will oversee the summer swim team program, serve as head coach during all “A” and “B” meets, select and manage the swim team coaching staff and oversee all elements of meet strategy and preparation.

About the Darnestown Swim and Racquet Club (DSRC) – Located in Darnestown, Maryland, the DSRC is a closed, private neighborhood swim and racquet club with a strong history within the MCSL.  In a beautiful rural setting and recently updated, the club offers modern swim facilities and a comfortable work environment.  The DSRC swim team has a strong core of winter swimmers as well as active family volunteers who support the coach as needed throughout the season.  The club offers an extremely competitive salary.
