Assistant Coaches

The Daleview “Feet” are looking for Assistant Coaches for the 2008 Summer Swim season.  We are a vibrant, exciting, and young team of 110 swimmers, currently competing in Division I with a long tradition in MCSL. We are a swim team that is closely aligned with the rest of the Pool community and enjoy the team experience. We enjoy the fun and camaraderie that is unique to MCSL and are looking for assistant coaches to continue this tradition.  The coaching staff consist of a Head Coach and two assistants.

Our Assistant Coach should have prior swim lesson or coaching experience and an enthusiastic positive and motivating personality.  The successful candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, good organization skills, and have experience in competitive swimming.  They should also be able to provide leadership, enthusiasm for the sport, great team spirit, and most importantly the desire to make each swimmers season enjoyable and worthwhile.  Candidates should have up-to-date lifeguard and CPR certifications as well as a valid pool operator's license.

The assistant coaches will have the following responsibilities with the Daleview “Feet”:

• Attend all daily practices and meets as scheduled.
• Provide regular and constructive feedback to swimmers during practices and meets.
• Attend meetings and social events.
• Assist the Head Coach with workout sets and meet line-ups.
• Coach Pre-team and attend the Mini-meet.
• Coordinate Awards for the end of season banquet with Head Coach.
