The Montgomery County Swim League (MCSL) sponsors competitive
swimming and other activities among the swimming pools and organizations
in Montgomery County, Maryland. The goals of the program include helping
young people establish a love for the sport of swimming, advanced aquatic
skills, teamwork, and the principles of good sportsmanship.

Friday, June 26, Chevy Chase Recreation Association swimmer Sloane Murray
and her mother were killed in a tragic accident. The MCSL joins the
CCRA Stingrays in mourning their loss.

The
Auer family has received only a small number of applications for the
scholarship they award to MSCL seniors in memory of their daughter Sarah.
They would like to give graduating senior swimmers another
opportunity to apply for the scholarship and have decided to extend the
deadline to Thursday July 2. Applications can be sent by team reps
either by the mail (postmark by July 2) or by email (received by
July 2). Details of the application process and mailing/email
