The Montgomery County Swim League (MCSL) sponsors competitive
swimming and other activities among the swimming pools and organizations
in Montgomery County, Maryland. The goals of the program include helping
young people establish a love for the sport of swimming, advanced aquatic
skills, teamwork, and the principles of good sportsmanship.

The
15-18 age group swim up example on page 55 of the 2012 handbook contains an
error. The example incorrectly states that Swimmer 4 can be used in Fly or
IM. Since Swimmer 4 is already entered in three individual events, Swimmer
4 can only be used in the Individual Medley. The example in the online
version of the Handbook rules has been corrected. We apologize for the
error.
